Devon Gilfillian Cambridge Concert reviews
Loved Maroon 5!
In February, I discovered that Cedar Rapids was going to host a "festival" in August, and Devon Gilfillian would headline the Saturday concert. Immediately, I purchased tickets, selecting lawn G area with 1st row and seats 70-72. However, in July, I learned that all lawn areas were general admission and first come, first serve. I was puzzled by the need to choose a row and seats. When I revisited the Ticketmaster site, I only saw 3 tickets @ $, without the option for rows/seats. Local Ticketmaster staff informed me that there was no solution. Contacting Ticketmaster customer service, I was informed that I could upgrade to other seats (for an added $10 each), but the reserved sections were reserved for 3-day festival pass holders. After receiving a couple of emails, I discovered that bagged lawn chairs were allowed, and Ticketmaster assigns row/seats in general admission areas to track the number of people in that section. This information should have been provided in February when tickets were on sale. I hope this confusion didn't deter people from buying tickets, as I would love to see Devon Gilfillian return to Cedar Rapids. The performance was fantastic, with the band delivering an excellent show and Adam looking as appealing as ever. They played for around an hour and a half, and I would definitely see them again, especially in a different venue.
